Hook Norton Football Club Players

Richard Meadows - Excellent all-round goalkeeper with very safe hands and kicks extremely well. Had a great season in our promotion winning side last term and was awarded Manager's Player of the Year.

Matt Dixon - Newly signed goalkeeper who will add strength and depth to our squad. Big, imposing keeper who will add competition to the number one spot.

Rob Canaway - Competitive full-back who always gives 100%. Capable of getting forward and getting on the scoresheet too.

Jamie Cramond - Versatile player who is equally at home as either a left-back or holding midfield player. 'Crammo' competes for everything on the ground and in the air, and has a trusty left foot.

Luke Grady - Big, strong centre-half who is very comfortable on the ball and we are hoping for big things from Luke this season.

Tim Jones - An ever present, in my managerial time at Hooky, who continues to develop. If 'Jonesy' can improve his consistency and continue to improve, he has all the attributes to become an excellent centre-half at a higher level.

Ben Elkington - Last seasons Player's Player of the Year. 'Elky' was magnificent for us last year and hisrecent re-signing for the club is a major boost for the club ahead of the new challenging season at Premier Division level.

Mark Tyler - Consistently hardworking, no-nonsense left sided full-back who again has been an ever present for me. 'T' has a great left foot and likes toget forward and deliver.

Joe Davies - Young lad in his second season in the first team who has an abundance of ability. Joe now needs to prove himself at the next level and ensure he continues to improve. A real prospect.

Gareth Source - Hard working mid-field player 'Sourcey' works tirelessly, likes to get forward and has a terrific attitude and desire towards the game.

Lee Harris (C)- Club Captain who led by example particulary in the run-in last season and weighed in with his fair share of goals. Dominates the central mid-field area both in the air and on the ground.

Gavin Hansell - Having suffered from injury last season Gavin has looked excellent in pre-season and will be looking to command a regular position in the starting line up. Quick, strong and competitive with a good eye for goal.

Steve O'Rourke - Another ever present. Reliable and versatile, 'Bomber' has been a terrific servant to the club and continues to be a very important member of the squad.

Ryan Breslin - Another player who suffered badly with injuries last season will be looking to get himself fully fit and back into the first team starting 11.

Pete Moulder - Hooky homegrown, whose improvement over the past three seasons has been immense. Hugely talented player who has already proved he is more than a handful to Premier Division opposition. Ever present, a bit like the smile... and just needs to
weigh in with a few more goals now.

Richard Northover - Club top goal-scorer for the past three seasons. We will need Richard's goals thisseason as we look to consolidate our newly earnt Premier Division status. Typical old-school centre-forward who holds the ball up well and gets on the end of things in the box.

Ben Spiero - Player/Manager, in fourth season of management at Hooky. Very experienced player at this level and consistent goal-scorer with Wantage Town, Abingdon United and most recently Hooky. Will be looking to continue to develop and improve things on the pitch inline with the way the club is progressing off the pitch.
